I have the honour to inform your Excellency that the following telegram has been received from the Commander-in-Chief, China Station:-
No.734. "Following received from Admiralty.
"Could any more China Coasters be spared suitable for
cargo work between India and Basra or Egypt? please state number and report to me."

If so,
I should be obliged if Your Excellency inform me whether any more China Coasters could be spared.
3. A copy of the above telegram has been forwarded to
Mr Sutherland and Mr Nuttall.
